Post-Event Report:
Join us for a special Tires & TVs drop off event where you can safely dispose of tires and e-waste (TVs, monitors, computers, laptops, and more) for free on Saturday, April 25th at 9:00 a.m. at the old Scolari’s parking lot, thanks to Washoe County Commissioner Mariluz Garcia, who proudly represents Sun Valley, in conjunction with corporate sponsor Hero Environmental Services.
This is the 4th or 5th community clean-up that Commissioner Garcia has sponsored here in Sun Valley. For details, please refer to the official event flyers:

Update: Tires with or without rims will both be accepted.

Can the tires have rims on them?
Sibi, thanks for the question. Checking on this. Stay tuned.
Hi Sibi, I checked with the Office of the County Manager, and they replied, “Yes, I am pleased to share that tires with rims on them will be accepted.”
Great question!
No one was there, I showed up and their is just other people with tires etc wanting to drop off and no service!
They had to end when the dumpsters and trucks were completely full, unfortunately. There is limited space and people were lining up early at 8 a.m., and it did fill up quickly.
FYI, SVGID is offering free e-waste disposal during the entire month of April. Details: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/18NiczRErR/
