My name is Johanna, and I am currently a student at Hug High School. I am a sophomore in a CTE program here at Hug and am also in leadership. I was born and raised in Reno, and I'm Hispanic--my whole family is from Mexico.
I want to study at UNR to become a NICU nurse. I've always wanted to be a nurse and hopefully my dream will come true; it's all in God's hands. I'm focused on getting good grades and working hard in school to have a good future.
Something that I enjoy doing is boxing. It's good to let the stress out, you get to work out a lot, and it helps just staying in good shape. I read the Bible to grow my relationship with the Lord. The type of music I like listening to is reggaeton and my favorite artist is Rauw Alejandro! I went to his concert, and it was amazing.
What motivates me to keep working hard is just making my family proud and myself proud, to feel good about myself and my accomplishments.
