I would say more access in and out of Sun Valley. Sun Valley Blvd is sometimes backed up from the highway to 7th and forget Highland Park, they have all the new houses, more bien built and at 7PM on any given night, it is 20 minutes to an hour to get down to Pyramid. When the fires were getting close, all I could think of was if we have to evacuate because the fires are tearing theough here, a lot of people will die.
100% agree with you. I vote to connect and pave Rising Ridge Dr (in the Sun Mesa neighborhood in Sun Valley) with Jamon Dr on the west side of Pyramid Way (just north of Walmart). It’s about 500 meters between the two, over the hill (less than 1/3 of a mile). This would give Sun Valley another egress point, beyond the three we have — which could be crucial if the valley needed to evacuate.
