Benefits of Spaying and Neutering
The benefits of spay and neuter include:
- Significantly reducing the number of unwanted litters, thus easing the burden on animal shelters that often struggle with overpopulation.
- Fewer animals euthanized, therefore allowing available resources to be redirected to improve the quality of care for existing shelter animals.
- Contributing to the overall good health for your pets and reducing unwanted behaviors.
- Benefits communities in terms of public health and safety and lower costs for sheltering and animal control.
