The Churros Hueso’s food truck is parked outside of Mendoza’s Café in Sun Valley, and is owned by Agustin Galvez. This location is generally available on Wednesday-Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The churro truck that you love in Sun Valley, NV started by only making churros at home. Over time, Galvez planned and thought with his wife about starting a business, which he mentioned was not easy to do, and takes lots of work and planning. He was inspired to start a churro truck so he could sell his churros and so others could see how good their food is.
He had a lot of orders when he first started selling churros and that encouraged him to continue when he saw that people liked their work. He has attended big events like the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cookoff, Reno Food Truck Fridays, and Cinco de Mayo (see the Churros Hueso’s Instagram for event photos). They don’t only sell churros; they also sell champurrado, strawberries and cream, churro shakes, churro cakes, churro bites, churros with ice cream, and more.
Galvez proudly explains, “I chose churros because it’s something not easy to do. Ours are the best churros here.” He chose to sell in Sun Valley because it’s the first place that gave him the opportunity, and people already know him in this community.
In conclusion, Churros Hueso’s is a family-owned business that is really known for their fresh, amazing, Jalisco-style churros. They love to make their customers happy, and always ensure that their customers want to come back with a smile on their faces. 😃
