Weekend Plan: Try Sun Valley Community Park!
The park serves Sun Valley residents with events, soccer & baseball leagues, a neighborhood center w/ senior programs, churches, and the swimming pool.

I am 15 years old, and I am from Carson City. I went to Carson High School, so this is my first year of attending Hug High. I am a sophomore, and I am currently in three honors classes.
I play softball in and outside of school; I have played for five years, and it is very important to me. One of my biggest challenges is understanding what to do without being told exactly what to do.
One of my biggest goals when it comes to school is getting only A’s and B’s so I can have a 3.5 GPA or higher. I am good at math, which is my best subject, but am not good at science.
My strengths I have are that I am wise, optimistic, patient, and resilient. I like driving and being outside, so I can’t wait to drive so I can go anywhere and do anything without having to ask for a ride.
My favorite movie is “Coraline” and my favorite show is “Gossip Girl.” I don’t read much, but I do have a favorite book—it’s called Winter Girls, and I like to listen to a mix of country and R&B.
