In the heart of Sun Valley and recently rebuilt in 2020, Golden Gate Petroleum (located at 5190 Sun Valley Blvd) transformed from an aging neighborhood gas station into a modern community go-to. The old structure was torn down and replaced with a newly designed convenience store and an updated fueling area featuring improved pumps, upgraded safety systems, food, and a more organized layout catering to customer demand.
Since reopening, Golden Gate has provided Sun Valley residents with a refurbished 24-hour one-stop location for fuel, snacks, in-store ready hot meals (featuring Krispy Krunchy Chicken), and daily essentials, becoming a dependable and reliable part of the community that was very much needed.
With the increase of customer flow, Golden Gate Gas employees prioritize customer service more than anything. “At the end of the day, it’s doing what’s best for you guys,” Diana Wheatherby, Sun Valley Golden Gate manager, shared. “We make sure we’re adding value and getting you in and out with a smile on all of your faces!”
The rebuild also expanded the station’s footprint, allowing for better traffic flow and enhanced accessibility for both drivers and pedestrians, catering to their customers’ needs, as promised. Golden Gate will continue doing their part in the advancement of Sun Valley’s community as their local staple gas station.
