In a saddening turn of events, the Wells Fargo ATM, that has resided—until very recently—in the Sun Valley Shopping Center, has gone missing. As of July 2, 2025, the Wells Fargo website still shows it to be the closest available bank ATM (automatic teller machine).
While there are other ATMs in Sun Valley, this one was very convenient, since it was a drive-up ATM, so didn’t require you to go into a convenience store (for example, 7-Eleven), bank branch, or gas station.
The old ATM was the last remnant of the Sun Valley Wells Fargo Branch that used to occupy the empty building adjacent to it. Many will remember when this branch was still functioning.
This disappearance is most unsettling, and foul play has not been ruled out. However, rumor has it that the old bank branch building may have a new tenant soon, so perhaps the disappearance of our dearly-departed ATM isn’t coincidental. Hmmm. 🔎 🏧 🕵️
