Community Easter Egg Hunt Brings Joy to Local Kids!

2025 Sun Valley Easter Egg Hunt

Last updated on May 15th, 2025

On April 11, 2025, the Sun Valley Community Park became full of laughter, joy and smiles as kids from all over the community gathered around for a cheerful Easter Egg Hunt. This event wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the H.O.P.E Church of the Nazarene and SVGID, who were the hosts and sponsors of this wonderful event. With the help of many people, they were able to bring a joyful and exciting morning for the children of Sun Valley.

The hunt was divided into groups of children depending on their ages. This made it possible for every child to have a fair chance when it came to the hunt. Hundreds of colorful eggs filled with chocolate and candy were scattered throughout various parts of the park. Not only did they have eggs, but they also had Easter Egg Baskets for four lucky children who found the special eggs! Apart from this, they were also so kind to hand out baskets to the children who did not have any before the hunt and they also handed out extra candy to the kids who were not able to make it on time so they could feel included.

The Easter Bunny also made a special appearance, and the kids were full of excitement, as they rushed to take pictures with the bunny. Aside from all the fun, they also supplied snacks and drinks for the children after the hunt as well as food donations to anyone who needed them.

This sunny morning was a day of endless joy for the kids of our community. Not only did they all have a great time, but they were also able to make new friends and enjoy the cheerful tradition of Easter!
